A quoting system that replaced eleven spreadsheets
A freight operator running its entire quoting and job history across spreadsheets and WhatsApp. We built the system it should have had.

The problem
Rates lived in one spreadsheet, clients in another, and job history in a WhatsApp group. Quoting a repeat customer meant three people and twenty minutes, and nobody could report on margin.
What we did
- Mapped the real quoting process, including the undocumented shortcuts everyone used
- Built a rate engine so a quote is generated from route, load and client tier
- Consolidated client, job and invoice history into one searchable record
- Added dashboards the operations manager and the accountant both accept
